February 2006 - Do You
Know Your History?
This month - and the next, I will be featuring
excerpts from a little history booklet that I discovered badly mutilated
- with no cover or author/publisher or copyright information pages
- in a pile of disposed belongings about two years ago.
The booklet was obviously some sort of publication
in which short historical summaries of the lives and achievement of famous
African and Foreign personalities was chronicled. Despite elaborate efforts,
I have been unable to find out the originator/author or the publication
or indeed its source.
As happened with the book "The Science
of Getting Rich" which was sent to Vic Johnson by an anonymous
person, who being unable to trace the copyright owner/author decided to
make it available free at http:/www.asamanthinketh.com,
I am offering any interested persons an electronic copy of what is left
of this booklet FREE.
Disclaimer: I offer this ebook for information purposes
only, and CANNOT guarantee (nor will I accept responsibility for) the
accuracy of the information contained in it. You may therefore use it
with the understanding that you do so at your own risk.
Below is a reproduction of the summary done for
Usman Dan Fodio. I have also added one set for a non-African
- Florence Nightingale - click here.
A similar summary is available in the original
booklet for over 40 different historical figures listed
at the bottom of this page.
